The Honors Academy at Martin Luther enhances the high school academic experience for its students.
Inspired by the rich academic foundation laid by Spartan alumni, the Honors Academy creates space for academic experiences and expectations beyond those required of all Martin Luther students.
The Martin Luther College Prep curriculum is a robust program designed to support every student. With 26 available AP and dual-credit courses, along with a dedicated staff focused on building relationships and fostering educational exploration, students are empowered to set and achieve individualized goals. The Honors Academy, however, goes further, challenging students to reach their maximum academic potential.
During their high school journey, Honors Academy students will:
- Complete a minimum of 10 honors or AP level courses
- Explore 12 prestigious universities through annual, guided tours
- Engage in a thought-provoking monthly leadership lecture series
- Hone oratory and debating skills
- Experience top-tier theater productions annually
- Complete four years of comprehensive ACT preparation
- Receive personalized college application and essay-writing coaching
- Identify and apply to best-fit colleges, including at least one top 50 university
- Receive test fee reimbursement for AP scores 3 or higher
